But the test drive had the CVT issue, and that's when I found that they had all sorts of CVT problems. (this was the 2017 MY).

I see others have mentioned the delay of about 1 second experienced when accelerating from a stop. It's okay when you're pulling out on a low speed road, but when turning out onto a highway, it's a little unsettling.

The update website states that version 17.5 is due out in November. 🙅♂️.

WEBSep 27, 2023 · Hyundai recall #251. Apparently, certain Elantras from the model years of 2011 to 2015 are subject to a recall involving a leak to the ABS module. This leak of brake fluid apparently can possibly lead to an overheated ABS module, or in worse case scenario, an engine compartment fire. For reference, the NHTSA campaign number is 23V651000.
