In Europe, Celebrity will sail eight ships to more than 100 European destinations and offer 59 overnight stays. Celebrity Xcel, the fifth ship in the cruise line’s Edge Series,will sail its inaugural season in the region featuring Celebrity’s first overnights in Madeira, Portugal.

Guests will feel more comfortable being able to secure their belongings when Celebration Key opens next year, thanks to a new addition.

In 2023 both Carnival and Royal Caribbean overhauled their main dining room (MDR) menus. The two companies, however, took very different approaches. Royal Caribbean shrunk its menus and gave each night a theme.

Now, when a passenger gets up from a table in the buffet, at the coffee shop or elsewhere on the ship, a crew member quickly cleans that spot for the next person. It's a labor-intensive process designed to kill germs and stop illness from spreading.
