Tottenham Hotspur striker Dominic Solanke has been called up to the England squad for the first time in seven years. Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers, though, has not been included in the senior side and will again be part of the Under-21 squad.

Lee Carsley is ready to rotate England’s wealth of attacking talent and use “finishers” off the bench after welcoming back Jude Bellingham, Cole Palmer and Phil Foden to the squad.Bellingham was injured for Carsley’s first matches as interim manager while Palmer and Foden pulled out but they were included for the Uefa Nations League matches against Greece and Finland.

Manchester United’s Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford have not been picked by England for the upcoming Nations League matches while Jude Bellingham returned.
