India's pacers, led by Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya, prepared rigorously for their upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, aiming to carry forward the momentum from their dominant 2-0 Test series victory.

Talking about India’s T20 squad for the Bangladesh series, the likes of Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma have been added to the side.

Hardik Pandya, a key player in the Indian cricket team, is on the verge of making history in the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. Suryakumar Yadav will lead India in this series which will commence on October 6.

India's chief selector Ajit Agarkar had sighted Hardik's injury as the reason for his snub. The all-rounder had gotten injured during India's match against Bangladesh in ODI World Cup 2023.

Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh expressed his shock over Hardik Pandya's snub as captain of the T20I team. Hardik was all set to replace Rohit as captain following the latter's retirement from the format.

Harbhajan expressed empathy for Pandya's situation, stating that losing the captaincy must be a significant setback for him. He said, "He came after winning the T20 World Cup and suddenly, it's a big setback for him.
