FALL RIVER — The community at Morton Middle School is mourning the loss of one of their students. In an email Thursday, Oct. 3, Principal Nicholas Bettencourt informed Morton families of the sudden and unexpected death of a sixth-grader "following a medical emergency" earlier that day.
