Karolina Muchova continues her outstanding form as she had no problems dismissing Paris Olympics gold medalist Zheng Qinwen to set up a blockbuster final against Coco Gauff. The Czech, who is currently ranked at No. 49 in the world and unseeded in Beijing, ousted the Asian home favorite 6-3 6-4 in an hour and 47 minutes of play.

Former U.S. Open champion Coco Gauff fought back from a set down to beat Spain's Paula Badosa 4-6 6-4 6-2 at the China Open in Beijing on Saturday and set up a final with Czech Karolina Muchova. Double faults and a weaker second serve troubled world number six Gauff early in the match as Badosa won 75% of her second return points in the set.
