With the new retention rules released by the Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council (GC), here's a list of players that Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are likely to retain for the IPL 2025.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has introduced fresh guidelines ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Each franchise is now permitted to retain a maximum of six players.

That's right, the IPL has decided to impose a "maximum fee" for overseas players at mini auctions. Any overseas player's auction fee at a mini auction will be the lower figure out of the highest retention price [INR 18 crore] and the highest auction price at the mega auction.
