A Texas man accused of shooting a police chief is allegedly on the run. A Blue Alert has been issued for 33-year-old Seth Altman, who has a warrant for his arrest on a charge of attempted capital murder of a peace officer, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, KBTX and FOX4.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A manhunt is underway for the suspect involved in the shooting of Memphis Police Chief Rex Plant. Multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for 33-year-old Seth Altman. Chief Plant and another officer went to a home last night to serve an arrest warrant on Altman.

HALL COUNTY, Texas — A Blue Alert has been issued for a man who allegedly injured a Texas police officer. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the alert was issued for Seth Altman, 33, of Memphis, for "the killing or serious injury of an officer" in Hall County, which sits in the panhandle just southeast of Amarillo.
