Shares of NTPC are in focus after its subsidiary, NTPC Green Energy, signed an MoU with the Rajasthan government for a 25-gigawatt renewable energy project. The agreement was formalized during the Rising Rajasthan Investor Meet in New Delhi.

On September 19, the company filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with SEBI for its highly anticipated Rs 10,000 crore initial public offering (IPO)

NTPC Green Energy Limited has entered into a joint venture agreement with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) for the development of 10 gigawatt renewable energy projects.

According to earlier reports, NTPC's renewable energy subsidiary is slated to conduct its IPO in the 1st week of November.

The company's stock rose higher as day after it signed an MoU with the Rajasthan government to invest Rs 1.2 lakh crore.
